Therapy with me is about getting to the root cause.
I’ve spent decades doing my own work and helping others do theirs. Here’s what I know to be true. The surface-level stuff doesn’t work. Learning a coping skill to use when you have a rage outburst doesn’t actually get to the root of your rage. To understand your rage we need to first understand your family of origin, what was modeled for you, your attachments (or lack thereof), how you function in relationships, are there healthy boundaries, etc. A coping skill without that understanding of self is a bandaid that falls off in a day or so.
Therapy with me is work. Deep, inner work. But we go at your pace and as you’re ready. We prep your body and mind to be able to process what comes up. And I’m with you every step of the way. On the heaviest of days we still find room for laughter. It’s critical to the healing journey.
